madonna bra

I have noticed amongst the younger 'GenerationZ' (late teens/early 20s) that traditional bras are no longer part of their wardrobe and sports bras for daytime, and clever taping and fitted dresses and tops for evening wear are much more comfortable and practical.

So where does leave us ladies in Generation X or older (their Mothers and Grandmothers) who have been taught from a young age that wearing the right bra is great for our posture and is quite frankly as necessary as a pair of knickers?!

I think it's important if you have a large bust to have good support, but I guess if you are pert and smaller endowed it would be acceptable and good for the breast muscles to work a bit harder without.

If you do need to get fitted (not all of us feel happy with nipples on show!) I recommend you go to a specialist bra shop like The Personal Touch in Stirling or Bathgate, where a tape measure is not used and the bra is fitted to you.

Wearing the right bra if you are a D cup or above will make you look slimmer, your clothes fit better and you may be able to drop a dress size.

Call me for more information or come along to the Studio and I can tell you if your bra fits correctly or not.

Aren't we having a great Summer here in Scotland?

It's great to be able to actually wear those Summer clothes without actually going on holiday and feel free with less layers!

I am currently selling off my French Captain Tortue range of designer French clothing which I use to compile my Style and Colour Analysis cards.

These clothes come in sizes 6-22 and you won't find them on the High Street.

I can tell you truthfully what colours and styles suit you best for your shape and in August I'm doing free 10 minute Style and Colour Analysis cards - give me a call!

I'm delighted to be hosting another Swish or clothes swapping event here in my Style Studio next Friday May 13 2022.

I used to run these regularly before the pandemic and it's a good opportunity to get some new clothes to refresh and invigorate your wardrobe without spending any money! Of course it's great fun too!

Swishing really fits well with our new sustainable world that we now live in as it's a great way of recycling your clothes, but if it's not your thing you can help to raise money for the British Red Cross and Ukraine on the evening by bidding for some of my French designer Captain Tortue clothes in my mini auction.

This event is £10 including drinks and there will be a fantastic raffle too!

If you live in Stirling and are fed up with the lack of decent clothes shops why not come out to my Studio in Kings Park near the town centre?

I stock some amazing French clothes that you won't see online or on the high street, so no one else will be wearing them!

They come in sizes 6-22 and I can do your Style and Colour Analysis at the same time.

My Studio is extremely well ventilated and you will have it to yourself.

I think as we come out of the pandemic people are feeling more confident about going out and I have been selling some dresses and smart tops this week for wedding and nights out.

Give me a call to book your slot 07933 911522

Never before has this been more relevant than now, when we have had the confines of the pandemic to deal with over the last 2 years, changing many of our lives forever.

I have found that many of my clients recently have forgotten how to dress up or are not sure what to wear any more - after all it's 2 years later!

Some of us are working from home, are exercising more or rarely venture out with all the confusion and uncertainty of restrictions, but I think finally things are returning to some kind of normal and we will venture further afield this year.

If you feel you need to 'Re-Invent Yourself' or your wardrobe why not come and see me for a chat about how you can look and feel great whatever you are doing?

I can do your Style and Colour Analysis and you will get your own personal card to take away and use when you're shopping for clothes.
