Rachel Bews

I was delighted yesterday to meet with Rachael Bews from Alicas who has launched an initiative to provide female victims of domestic and emotional abuse with a brand new wardrobe to help them regain their identity, dignity and confidence.

Thousands of tonnes of brand new clothes are destroyed every year by well known brands and Rachael is trying to encourage them to donate these clothes to those in need of a big psychological and emotional boost.

This fits perfectly with my 're-invent yourself' ethos and I will be supporting Rachael at the launch of her first capsule wardrobe gift pack in Edinburgh on Thursday 20/9/18 at The Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters in Gogarburn.

I will be personally donating a small capsule wardrobe from my French Captain Tortue collection and will be explaining how to put your own together.

Give me a call if you would like to go or would like to donate some clothes for the survivors call me 07933 911522

I was delighted this week to take delivery of the French Captain Tortue Autumn 18 season here in the studio.

This really does give you a unique Boutique Personal Shopping experience - you can shop in the comfort of the Stirling style studio over a cup of tea and of course benefit personally from my expert style and colour advice!

Anna red jacketThis week I was delighted to launch my new business networking group in Stirling She's in Biz.

My aim is to build a collaborative community of business women in Central Scotland whilst at the same time having some fun and a spot of lunch.

Pictured is guest speaker and NLP coach Anna Bell who did a short presentation about mindset and motivation - it was fab!

The next event is 5/9/18.

What a week it's been with more shop closures on the high street! What are your thoughts?

I'm trying to get feedback about what particularly 40+ women want in terms of clothes shopping - email me This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Always remember I have my boutique of Captain Tortue French clothing here in the studio for you to browse any time.

Tracey Swish

We had a great Swish Night here in the studio on Friday although it was a bit quieter than usual.

This gave it a really personal feel and I got to speak to eveyone and help them choose their 'swaps'.

The next one will be after Summer.

Speaking of which have you got your wardrobe sorted now it is here?

I have some fantastic Captain Tortue clothes here in the studio that you can view any time by appointment with absolutely no obligation to buy.

Just give me a call or check them out here.

 Thrive

It's great to have had at least a few days recently of good sunny weather here in Scotland and we can only keep our fingers crossed that we have lots more...

How are you finding reorganising your Summer wardrobe? Do you need some help?

It's good to have your seasonal clothes to hand and put away your Winter ones for now so that  you can put your outfits together really quickly and effectively.

A change of season is usually the best time to give yourself a mini Wardrobe Workout and get rid of those items you never wear which are clogging it up.

I'm having my Swish Night here in the studio on Friday May 11 2018 so this is your perfect opportunity to swap those clothes that are in great condition, that you no longer wear, for some thing better.

Yesterday I was working with the Thrive group of ladies in Stirling (above) helping them with their best colours and styles for their shape.

Their mission is to reinvent themselves and their confidence, and I think wearing the right shapes and styles can really help with this.
