Clothes drive to help Scottish Women's Aid

Rachel Bews

I was delighted yesterday to meet with Rachael Bews from Alicas who has launched an initiative to provide female victims of domestic and emotional abuse with a brand new wardrobe to help them regain their identity, dignity and confidence.

Thousands of tonnes of brand new clothes are destroyed every year by well known brands and Rachael is trying to encourage them to donate these clothes to those in need of a big psychological and emotional boost.

This fits perfectly with my 're-invent yourself' ethos and I will be supporting Rachael at the launch of her first capsule wardrobe gift pack in Edinburgh on Thursday 20/9/18 at The Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters in Gogarburn.

I will be personally donating a small capsule wardrobe from my French Captain Tortue collection and will be explaining how to put your own together.

Give me a call if you would like to go or would like to donate some clothes for the survivors call me 07933 911522
